Regional Arts Projects Fund - yes, you heard right


In addition to a number of operational arts commissions (for example -Town Centre Regeneration - see below), Dumfries and Galloway Council has commissioned the Chamber of Arts to pilot a regional fund that is now open for application. Successful projects meeting two or more of the criteria below must take place before 31 March 2015.


·       A total of up to £60,000 is available for regional arts funding
·       Awards from £500 to £10,000 (up to £15,000 in exceptional circumstances) are available The first deadline for applications is Monday January 27 2014. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to discuss their project with the Chamber of Arts during February 2013

Criteria
Demonstrates benefit to the region by:
       Introducing or building on existing regional,  national and/or international partnerships
       Building individual or organisational capacity to deliver successful arts projects at regional level
       Enhancing the impact of the arts as a means of delivering social aims in collaboration with relevant partners
       Developing  the arts as a means of delivering economic impact and support the creative sector as a vital part of the regional economy
