Commissioning Opportunity - Town Centre Regeneration through the Arts

There are two 'Town Centre Regeneration through the Arts Commissions' Lot 1: Dumfries; Lot 2: Stranraer (up to £20,000 for each contract up to 31 July 2015) 

Dumfries and Galloway Council and the Dumfries and Galloway Chamber of Arts are delighted to announce two commissioning opportunities in Dumfries and Galloway These commissions, which are to be delivered over the coming two years, are designed to encourage ambitious arts programmes in the public realm in Dumfries and Stranraer; to stimulate collaborative working among artists and local arts organisations; to engage local and visitor audiences, to strengthen capacity and collaborative working among our arts organisations, and to demonstrate that arts can make a significant contribution to the regeneration of our town centres.

The commissioning process will be managed though the Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) web portal. To receive the brief you must be registered as a supplier on this website, and must either be self-employed or registered as a company. The brief will be released to selected registered suppliers via the Quick Quote facility on the PCS website on 23 December 2013. The deadline for return of submissions will be 5pm on Monday 20 January 2014. Use this link to register on the PCS website as a supplier and complete your Supplier Finder profile by 22 December:

Make sure you also email Procurement.Tenders@dumgal.gov.uk with the subject line Town Centre Regeneration to let us know you have registered.
