The CS Conversation Widens

The caring sharing folk of Creative Scotland have been good to their promise of listening to the sector....following last weeks announcement of the Open Session events around the country there was some mutterings about the geographic spread of the planned events. The Commonty's self-appointed (!) Glasgow correspondent Phillipa McSoirĂ©e predicted that her nephew (?) Phil Miller (of the Herald) would force a Glasgow date into the agenda and it seems that 'Big Phil' has succeeded in landing a high-profile session in Easterhouse.

D+G folks will be quick to spot that one of the new dates is in Dumfropolis - so we now have a choice....whether to hire a bus and have a wee day out to somewhere exotic like Greenock, Inversneckie or Skye or to concentrate on showing some hospitality to visitors on home turf....or indeed both!

Busy times for our CS friends

the newly announced dates are:

Dumfries, Easterbrook Hall - 25 April
Glasgow - Platform - 26 April
Aberdeen - The Lemon Tree - 29 April

  1. Merci for the big up my furry little provincial friends. Big Phil was regailing the family at Christmas with tales of how he 'totally owned' Creative Scotland - we chuckled at the time, but perchance he was down with the truth after all.

Comforting to see the arrows settling back into the Central Belt bed - 180!
