Dumfries and Galloway Arts Sector Seeks Innovative Consultancy and Project Management Support
Fresh Start for the Arts is an initiative supported by LEADER, D+G Council and Creative Scotland to research, propose and implement new infrastructure to consolidate new models for arts delivery in SouthWest  Scotland

Following a year- long development a vibrant new artist-led strategy system is being created in Dumfries & Galloway, which will transform local arts throughout our region. The multi-partnership approach involves key arts organisations as well as region-wide stakeholders including the NHS, Education Services and Economic Development, as well engagement with the local authority and Creative Scotland.
Fresh Start for the Arts’ will open the door to a more inclusive and public focussed cultural offer for the region, and places area partnership at the centre of the process through 5 regional Arts Hubs.
The project is about to undergo a major 2-part process, which includes a consultation period to develop an appropriate strategy for the organisational growth and delivery of this landmark development and a series of arts events culminating in an arts conference. Interested practitioners or consultants are invited to develop a tender for one or both these pieces of work.

Full details and brief can be downloaded here…….http://www.holywood-trust.org.uk/trust-news/downloads (Fresh Start for the Arts Brief)

Deadline for submissions: 19th October - submissions to jim.tildesley@virgin.net on behalf of Fresh Start for the Arts

  1. Let us all offer up a collective prayer that folk who 'want to work with other folk to make good stuff happen' apply for this..... and not the folk who 'know the answers already and do a phone survey to prove they were right'
